At Darul Ulama — Darul Ifta, our goal is to provide clear, authentic, and practical answers to everyday fiqh questions. Every question is reviewed and answered by qualified scholars who reference the Qur’an, Sunnah, and classical Fiqh sources. Below is how our process works and what you should expect.
Use our Ask a Question form (link/button: Ask a Question) and provide a short title and a full description.
Include relevant details (dates, context, medical conditions, etc.) and attach documents if needed.
Choose your preferred language (English / Urdu / Arabic) and indicate whether you allow us to publish an anonymized version of your question and answer.
Your submission is saved in our secure inbox. We first check the category and urgency, and remove any personal or sensitive information that might identify you.
If your question needs medical or legal expertise beyond our remit, we will advise you to consult an appropriate specialist in addition to our fiqh reply.
If you gave permission to publish: we post an anonymized article on Darul Ulama and email you the link. This helps others with similar issues and improves public knowledge.
If you asked for privacy: we will email the answer directly to the address you provided and will not publish it. You can still ask us to publish an anonymized version later.
A clear one-line title summarizing the issue.
A full description with context (what happened, when, who is involved).
Any dates, medical or travel constraints, or relevant documents (attach files if necessary).
Your preferred language and whether you allow publication (consent checkbox on the form).
We remove names and identifying details when publishing any question.
If you choose private response, your question and our reply will not be publicly posted.
We keep submission data secure and only use it for answering and quality review.
Published answers are presented as scholarly opinions based on classical sources and contemporary application where necessary.
We add references (Qur’an, Hadith, and fiqh works) where appropriate.
Republishing, quoting, or sharing a published answer is allowed with credit to Darul Ulama.
Answers provided by Darul Ulama Ifta are scholarly opinions for religious guidance. For urgent legal, medical, or safety matters, please consult an appropriate local professional in addition to our guidance. Darul Ulama is not liable for actions taken solely on the basis of online answers.
Use the Ask a Question page to submit a new query.
